comfy bed nice bathroom friendly staff
The location was superb!!! The room included a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I also found the staff to be really friendly and helpful.
The room faced the road so there was slight noise from the passing traffic.

Superb Stay!

The hotel had ample parking spaces available. My room had a super king bed and a massive television. The walk in shower was big, it was easy to use. I found fairy lights in the restaurant and on the table, they gave a special touch.
The breakfast needed pre ordering the day before, so it was not great.

The hotel has cosy lounges complete with log fires to relax near. Guests will also find a separate breakfast room and a classy restaurant. Parking on site is plentiful, this is convenient with cars.

The staff was lovely, and they helped when needed. The hotel gives warm welcome. It is appreciated that the staff are chatty. I seemed like nothing was too much trouble.

adequate but underwhelming stay
short beds traffic noise
the room felt cramped. it had twin beds that were too short for me. the noise was bothersome, it came from traffic and the nearby railway kept me awake till late. i thought the cost was a little expensive for what i got.

The room was very clean. the bed was the most comfortable bed of my entire trip. i liked the extra tea and coffee set out in the hallway. It was a lovely touch.

i found the room to be clean and well maintained. the bed linen was of excellent quality i slept soundly. the breakfast offered many choices and the service was attentive. i appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary for the following day. I really enjoyed the dinner and wine selections available.
Room 3 felt quite old-fashioned, with a mix of furniture styles. The room was also small and somewhat cramped. The bed sheet was worn, with a visible hole. I noticed the hotel does not offer decaffeinated coffee, which I needed for medical reasons.
